We are one of the largest local authority employers in the Gwent area. Working for a local authority dedicated to recruiting talented and committed staff, to provide the best possible services, we are now looking to recruit an Assistant HR Adviser to join our Human Resources Team.
The role:
To assist the HR Advisers with providing an advisory and interpretation service to managers and employees on a wide range of employment related issues, promoting best practice and encouraging greater ownership.
To assist the HR Advisers contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategic projects and policies in line with the priorities set out within the People Strategy with particular reference to providing a comprehensive IT and information service for the Division.
To undertake HR Administrative duties.
Who we're looking for:
Must have previous experience of working within a HR team.
CPP or part qualified CIPD would be an advantage.
Excellent IT and communication skills.
On offer:
This role is to start ASAP until approximately 31st March 2010.
37 hours per week, 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
In return you will get a salary of 9.00 per hour.
