My client is looking to recruit a strong Assistant Manager to assist the Centre Manager in the day to day running of this multi faceted leisure facility. Boasting sites nationwide we will provide you with a comprehensive training programme that will enable you to develop within your career. With a diverse range of responsibilities, the Assistant Manager will manage all aspects of the site on a day-to-day basis including building operations, health & safety and risk assessments. You will need to co-ordinate teams of both permanent and temporary staff and be able to work on your own initiative in order to deal with high-pressure situations.
The ideal Assistant manager candidate will have skills leaning towards both sales and operations, Candidates must have 6-12 months experience at Duty Manager level. They should have a retail or leisure background with experience in performance management as well as designing and delivering sales and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be able to build a strong relationship with customers and the team alike, leading from the front by example. You must be passionate about service standards and an excellent floor manager.
The ability to communicate at all levels is essential and your level of organisation and professionalism must be exceptional. This exciting role is ideal for those who like a challenge and are keen to progress within their career.
