Job Description: This world renowned retail group have continued to show positive growth over the last 12 months want to continue to watch their products to fly off the shelves. Working alongside the Merchandiser, you'll use your knowledge of stock management and replenishment to make sure that's exactly what happens.
Providing support for everything from stock level reviews through to weekly, seasonal and ad-hoc reporting, the Assistant Merchandiser is responsible for knowing exactly what's selling and how to maximise profitability. They will expect you to be able reforecast sales, stock and margin - identifying opportunities and risks - and to have a clear understanding of OTB. You will work alongside the buying team to identify opportunities for stock transfer and make recommendations on commitment, and will work with the allocators to ensure that they always have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time.
To be considered for this ole you will already be an Assistant Merchandiser in retail and you'll have experience of working across different product ranges and with both seasonal and continuity stock. A strong team player, you'll be numerate and analytical. You'll also have excellent Excel skills and will be a fantastic problem solver who can work with data to quickly identify solutions.
