Our client based in Swindon is a leading retail brand and are looking to recruit an Assistant Merchandiser to assist the Merchandisers and Merchandise Manager in achieving sales and profit targets through analysing the trading performance of products within the designated range and implementing effective store stock replenishment. job role:

  • Range Planning
  • Defining the number of products ranged to each store
  • Ensuring individual product plans meet targets
  • Review weekly trading performance
  • Communicate ongoing or key availability issues to stores
  • Product Ordering and Store Replenishment
  • Understand and effectively operate ordering systems
  • Ensure ordering and replenishment parameters are correctly set up on the system preferred skills:
  • Driven and dedicated individuals who are interested in an entry level role within the merchandising arena
  • Ideally you will be of graduate calibre and possess some administration experience
  • A retail background would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Excellent numeric and analytical skills are essential
  • You will also require a good working knowledge of Excel
  • SAP experience would be an advantage associated benefits:
