Role: Assistant Planning Manager
Location: South East England
Salary: Circa £22-27k
The Company
- A leading UK supplier within several protein categories, trading for over 20 years and with
excellent customer links within the UK Retail and Foodservice industries
- Having now identified the need to strengthen their Planning department, they are actively seeking
the addition of an Assistant Planning Manager
Essential
- Experience within a chilled food manufacturing or fresh food import environment
- Experience at Management or supervisory level, with the ability to work unsupervised
- Strong IT skills and MRP systems knowledge
Desirable
- Food industry or business related degree
- Experience within an import/export environment
The Role
- Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will liaise closely with the Operations
team to ensure waste, stock and materials planning is carried out effectively and efficiently
- Responsible for overseeing a team of Production Planners, you will act as a motivational leader,
providing help and support where required
- Continuously working to identify improvement opportunities within the department you will work in
a proactive and progressive manner
