Assistant Product Manager- 21k-25k- Worcestershire
A European Retail Company is looking for an assistant product manager to join their join their highly reputable and growing procurement team.
This procurement will see you:
Assist the Product Manager in product development, negotiation and sourcing.
Support the continuous development and sourcing of products from the UK and overseas
Negotiating with suppliers the most competitive rates to achieve a substantial buying margin and supplier contribution.
Developing and sourcing of products to achieve competitive advantage sales/margin targets
Assisting with the briefing and evaluation of all sales promotional activity and respond with price changes as necessary.
Marketing and implement promotional initiatives and in-store merchandising approaches
Support the management of the product range, minimising obsolete stock
Liasing with PR, communications and marketing department.
To succeed in this procurement role you will need:
Previous procurement experience
Degree calibre and procurement accreditation
Have excellent communication skills
Had experience within the retail sector.
