Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in East Yorkshire is looking to recruit an Assistant Regional Accountant to assist with the provision of financial support and with the preparation of monthly divisional accounts.
Experience, Qualifications & Training:
Candidates should have some accounting experience, and have gained or be studying towards a recognised accounting qualification.
Principle accountabilities will include:
- monitoring the housekeeping of purchase orders to ensure each division clears any posting-holds within an acceptable timescale.
- ensuring the timely invoicing of all revenue.
- production of invoice and credit note requests.
- reconciliation of balance sheets
- cash-flow forecasting, regional budgets and forecasts.
- running reports for month end regional accounts and highlight any problems that may be present.
This is a permanent role which comes with excellent benefits including employer contribution pension scheme, life insurance, health scheme and annual bonus. The salary on offer is c. £27,000.
