We are looking for leadership at every level and as an Assistant Restaurant General Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant General Manager and leading your team in the smooth running of your store.
You will supervise shifts to ensure that sales, profitability and standards are maximised and all Company policies and procedures are followed. You also will be required to line manage the team in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and when running shifts in line with the company behavioural How We Win Together (HWWT) principles.

Main duties and responsibilities of Assistant Restaurant General Manager- Assist the Restaurant General Manager to ensure that the various volumes of the business are met, to increase sales, to implement in-store promotions and to maximise the profitability.
- Ensure all financial and administrative procedures are adhered to at all times and discrepancies are investigated and reported.
- Assist the Restaurant General Manager in weekly labour schedules and other paperwork.
- Ensure all Company standards are met and cleaning work is carried out.
- Handle all customer complaints.
- Assist the Restaurant General Manager in correctly staffing, training and coaching of all employees.
- Support the Restaurant General Manager at team and management meetings.
- Handle employee relations issues within the restaurant.
- Ensure that all Statutory and Company Health, Safety and Food Hygiene regulations are followed and corrective action taken as necessary.
- Deputise for Restaurant General Manager when required.

Who YOU are…The role will require energy, confidence, flexibility, problem solving skills and previous supervisory or management experience in a related industry such as Restaurants, Pubs, Bars, Contract Catering, Hotels, Leisure or Food, Retail.
