Within its Rail Division, Atkins has an exciting and challenging portfolio of projects and Clients. The Projects Business undertakes a wide variety of signalling renewal and other network enhancement projects on behalf of our primary Client, Network Rail. We are currently looking for a Signal Design Engineer to be based in our Croydon office.

Requirements
  • Able to carry out Safety Critical Work
  • UK Signalling Design Engineer skills including knowledge of standards, procedures, CAD
  • Experience of UK signalling design
  • Experience of signalling design checking Fit and able to work trackside.
  • IRSE Design Licence: 1.1.110 (Designer)
  • PTS
  • Degree/HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar


    • Responsibilities
  • Produce designs, specifications, reports and working drawings to meet contract requirements within agreed timescales and performance parameters
  • Implement the requirements of Atkins Rail Business Management System, Core Assurance Case and Railway Safety Case
  • Assist in determination of engineering policy and deal with engineering and contractual matters with professional integrity at all times
