| | About this job An established company based in Leicestershire is currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join the team on a 3 month temporary to permanent basis. The candidate will be required to undertake key financial audit assignments with minimum supervision, in accordance with the procedures detailed in the Audit Manual, document and review existing procedures, systems and controls, identify risks and test controls and produce reports on findings, with conclusions on the level of assurance which can be provided with recommendations for improvements where appropriate. Further duties will involve assisting with special investigations; undertaking contract audits, analysing and checking of current contracts and final accounts.
The ideal candidate will either have a background in Internal Audit or possible External Audit, have excellent communication skills and the ability to fit into a small team. You will need to be available at short notice as the requirement is urgent.
