As a
technology-driven company, our client provides customer relationship management
solutions to the world’s leading publishers, direct marketing firms, financial
institutions and government organisations. An opportunity has now arisen for a
BI Developer to join their team.
In this role you will join a team
that’s responsible for enhancing our client’s data warehouse and associated
reporting services in order to meet requests for new functionality from internal
and external users.
As a BI Developer you will specifically be
responsible for creating reports using Web Intelligence XI, gathering and
documenting reporting requirements, unit testing, and providing support to the
Client Services team.
Your main duties will include:
- Managing
and delivering new reports and report amendments
- Maintaining suitable
training material and supporting report documentation
- Administering the
company’s Business Objects ‘content plan’
- Ensuring all Business Objects
reports work efficiently and accurately
To be considered for this
position you must have experience of:
- Using Business Objects Web
Intelligence to create and amend reports (at least V6.5, preferably XI R2)

Business Object report distribution using BCA or scheduling via CMC

Providing support on Business Objects to both internal and external
clients
As the BI Developer you should also be an excellent communicator
with the ability to collect and analyse information in order to product
technical reports specifications. You must also be a team player and proficient
user of the MS Office suite.
