BIDS MANAGER - (UTILITIES) - INFRASTRUCTURE
Location: South East
Salary: £55k-£70k + Bonus + Car + Pension + Health

THE COMPANY
* A top ten infrastructure contractor with a reputation as a leader within the industry.
* Projects range up to and over £100m in value, encompassing all aspects of major civil engineering and utility infra and non infrastructure works.
*An experienced Bids Manager is required to oversee a multitude of project frameworks in the South East working on gas, water and electricity tenders ranging from £1m to £100m.

THE ROLE
* You will play a strategically key role in the bid process, managing the bid team and helping to secure a variety of projects in the utilities sector with a primary focus on water and electricity frameworks.
* This will involve managing the bid submissions with a focus on writing bids and project managing them from 'cradle to grave'
* Co-coordinating the Technical / Commercial Submissions.
* Co-coordinating the Estimators and supporting bid team of four personnel.
* Writing bid proposals and technical submissions valuing £1m - £100m
* Liaison with the Business Development Director creating a strong working unit.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*Applicants should have at least five to ten years utilities experience with a strong presence in running and winning bids.
*You will be required to run bids valuing £1m - £100m, proving a strong background in bid management with a main contractor overseeing projects from start to finish will be important to ensure getting past first initial enquiry stage.
* You should have a hands on approach and be the sort of manager who is prepared to role up their sleeves to get the job done.
