As an intermediate you will be working with a close knit team reporting directly to a partner, with the ability to delegate work to more junior accountants, further developing your supervisory skills. Your day to day role will be looking after the business services work of a wide variety of clients, preparing their financial statements and tax returns, FBT and GST work. Within your role you will also have the opportunity to be a member of the audit team to further develop and diversify your accounting skills; this will also help your understanding of audit when you do the CA Program.
To be considered for this role you will have 2 years experience from an Australian chartered firm in business services, ideally broad experience, not too specialised ? audit would also be an advantage. The firm sets high standards and will only consider applicants with a credit average at university and first time passes if you have started the CA Program. Involvement in activities outside of work are highly regarded as are leadership roles in your prior schooling.
