My client is a leading business who operate on a global basis.
They are currently looking to recruit a buyer to their teams in; corporate services (IT, company cars etc), services (sub contractors), raw materials and finished goods.
ROLE INFORMATION;
This role requires an individual to provide a cost effective and value added purchasing service by managing commercial relationships, and improving supplier relationships.
You will be required to undertake successful negotiations, develop supplies practices and procedures and manage a large spend appropriately.
Other duties to include; strategic sourcing, engaging suppliers, negotiations and setting up of contracts.
YOU WILL BE;
A buyer/senior buyer who has had responsibility for purchasing commodities with a large spend and who has achieved significant cost savings. You will ideally be from an engineering or manufacturing background with responsibility for reviewing SLAs, tenders and demonstrating effective negotiation skills.
