As the Beef and Lamb Boning Department Manager in a two species abattoir, you will work in a multi-disciplinary boning hall providing objective expertise and making a full contribution to the continuing success of the business. Implementing robust procedures, you will ensure that we continue to deliver exceptional products that are safe, legal, ethical and successful. You will be based at Turriff, reporting directly to the site General Manager; you will facilitate the delivery of the dept plan/targets through the team. You must have substantial, relevant, meat industry experience. This must include a good knowledge of yields and the ability to do costings, practical craft skills, a working knowledge of HACCP, and an appreciation of relevant legislation. With a can-do attitude and keen awareness of how your role impacts on our commercial success, you will work effectively with other areas of the business to ensure that we achieve our goals.
