Bid Advisor
The Company:
A top 15 International Law firm based in London is looking for an experienced Bids Advisor to come in and manager cross-departmental and cross border pitches as appropriate as well as providing support to the development of best practice initiative. You will be working within a team of over 15 Business Development professionals and providing support to partners across the firm.
The Responsibilities:
·Work on or supervise the development of:
·cross-departmental pitches which originate in the London office
·pitches which originate from other offices as required
·Manage additional over-flow pitches from London departments or other offices as required
·Support initiatives regarding best practice in pitches, including
·regular meetings between the business development team and pitch partners
·pitch training, e.g. new joiners to business development
·research analysis
·other projects as needed
·Undertake post pitch qualitative research (feedback), analyse and report key findings
·Active involvement in proactively pursuing other new business-aimed activity
·Oversee pitch tracking and pitch knowledge databases
The Candidate:
·Previous experience working successfully on pitches
·Ability to switch between detail and the bigger picture
·Ability to influence others, particularly partners
·Demonstrate flexibility and willing to go the extra mile
·Able to deal directly with clients and client representatives
·Commercial awareness and able to bring the clients' perspective into the frame
·Numerate and able to assimilate large amounts of data
·Excellent organisational and project management skills
·Enthusiastic and pro-active, with the ability to work autonomously when required as well as within a team
·Happy to turn hand to other priorities as needed
·Good sense of humour and positive attitude
