Our client, one of the UKs leading construction and redevelopment companies are seeking to employ a Bid Co-ordinator to work on one of their projects in the Portsmouth and Southampton area.
The Role
You will play a crucial role in the bid and tender operation for a large PFI contract under the Building Schools for the Future scheme. Your role will be to act as the focal point in the presentation and delivery of the tender. A team behind you will be able to put together the technical aspects of the bid but you will be able to confidently present the bid with the aim of securing the tender.
Working with your team you will ensure that all documents and presentations are completed on time, are engaging and understandable to all parties.
The Person
We are looking for someone with outstanding presentation skills, previous marketing and bid experience allied to an assertive and organised personality. Ideally you will have experience of working to tight deadlines and will of had some experience of working with/for the public sector.
The role will be based in Portsmouth but will require some travel around the Portsmouth and Southampton area. Initially approxiametly a one year temporary role there is the possibility it could be extended depending on the success of the project. Immediate start for the right candidate.
