Bid Manager / BDM required for key client in London. Bid Manager / BDM with Social Housing experience. Bid Manager / BDM with Social Housing experience essential. Bid preparation and tender work essential for this Bid Manager / BDM role.
My client is one of the market leading clients who provide high quality maintenance and refurbishment services to the public sector. They have a successful track record spanning some 40 years and have an extensive client base throughout the South East of England. This role reports directly into the MD.
Duties
- Manage the new work procurement process from PQQ through to tender.
- Deliver bid-writing process and add value to submitted proposals.
- Co-ordinate sections of business that contribute to bids and proposals.
- Manage the new business pipeline.
- Researching tender opportunities.
- Develop external publications and ensure website is current and maintained.
- Developing relationships with new and existing clients and gathering sector intelligence.
Experience
- A good knowledge of the social housing sector with a bias towards building fabric repairs, decent homes and also works to public buildings.
- A sound knowledge of the OJEU procurement process.
- A demonstrable track record of successfully delivering the duties described.
