Bioinformatics Senior Scientist Gene Expression Molecular
A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Senior Computational Biologist within an award winning scientific research organization in London. As the senior scientist, you will be expected to lead and manage a team of molecular biologists, statistical data analysts and bioinformaticians on new cutting edge scientific research projects.
This is a unique role, and perfect for an industry experienced R&D scientist who is confident in their bioinformatics/data analysis capabilities, yet understands the techniques used within molecular biology.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role you will be educated to at least a MSc level (PhD Preferred) in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology; with a clear understanding of the industry challenges associated with molecular biology laboratory techniques. You will be confident in your ability of managing a multi disciplinary team of scientists and computational biologists and eager to stay abreast with latest developments and techniques within the bioinformatics community. Previous exposure to gene expression/microarray data analysis and large scale re-sequencing data would be highly advantageous.
