Kingston-Knight Consultancy are very pleased to be working with a highly successful high street bank, requiring an experienced branch manager to join their thriving team.

Job Purpose
To assist Group Managers in managing and motivating the branch team in order to grow and maintain profitable business. To support the delivery of all targets through effective use of branch resources, ensuring high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist the Group Manager in achieving all sales targets for the branch
  • Maximise business generation and exploit new opportunities
  • Direct line management of a branch team
  • Support management in identifying and nurturing relationships with local businesses and external customers
  • Financial responsibility and authority for expenditure within defined limits
  • Ensure the branch team are aware of, and follow, all legislative and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills/Experience

  • CeMAP qualified with Registered Mortgage Adviser status and relevant experience in a supervisory role.
  • Has a full and detailed knowledge of specified products or services. Recognises pros and cons of options available when matching to customer needs.
  • Good understanding of commercial nature and risks associated with services provided.
  • The ability to create, interpret and use statistical data to aid decision-making.
  • Monitors and controls financial resources effectively.
  • The ability to succeed in achieving agreement using a variety of communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required to work Saturdays on a rota basis.
