Are you an online analytics guru?

A newly created position within this global digital agency, we are looking for a talented and hands on online analytics guru who essentially is looking for a “start up” environment within an established and extremely successful digital business. Looking to provide a 360 degree approach, marketing analytics along with a number of other high profile functions will be included within this leader’s offering.

As Director, Marketing Analytics you will provide analysis, forecasting and reporting that informs and improves the effectiveness of the planning, execution and optimization of marketing strategy and online programs. You will manage the full analytical project lifecycle, from business development to final delivery, connecting optimization metrics to the strategic intent of campaigns and underlying business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

Define, establish, develop and manage a best in class Marketing Analytics group that is

responsible for analyzing key performance metrics and competitive trending and communicating these to client and internal management

Lead large cross-functional projects as a marketing strategy/analytics expert to ensure cross functional projects are consumer centric and aligned with company marketing strategy

Provide guidance to a team of marketing analysts in their creation of forecast, operational and statistical tools and models

Provide strategic direction on data analysis with large scale measurement and reporting

platforms such as Omniture, Coremetrics, WebSideStory and WebTrends

Work with client and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements in order to

design and develop reporting and analysis approaches tailored to the needs of our business

partners

Collaborate with the technology team to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and

implement enhancements

Identify marketing opportunities through our proprietary customer segmentation methodology

Apply statistical modelling methodologies and build statistical models for behavioural

predictions

Recommend changes to existing policies and processes that will result in improved business results

Experience required:

Solid analytical experience at a senior level, preferably within an Interactive, Agency or CRM organization

Accountability for budget or client revenue

Must be able to translate business goals into functional strategies

Client management experience with primary accountability for peer-level client relationships

Proficiency in spreadsheet applications, databases / SQL querying and programming a plus

Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills

Demonstrated use of statistical modelling

Experience with multivariate testing

Strong communication and presentation skills

Open to frequent overnight travel and work at client site
