As Building Services Manager, you will support the planned maintenance team with the delivery and continuous improvement of a pre-planned and reactive maintenance service to designated areas of the new Acute Build and Mental Health Facilities, and to ensure delivery of an effective and efficient maintenance service.
To be successful, you possess the ability to show understanding of Local Authority legislation, Planning Applications, Fire and Building Regulations Approvals and m ust be able to manage people, be self-motivating, able to work on own initiative, liaise and delegate effectively with staff operating in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Other essentials requirements include a sound knowledge of building and engineering services Design, Construction and Maintenance and associated British Standards along with good knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Construction Design and Management Regulations and other relevant statutory requirements.
If you have the above and possess a recognised Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Building Engineering qualification with previous demonstrable management experience in a maintenance role and are hold a CSCS Managers card we would like to talk to you.
Please note that this role is for a initial 12 months with the potential to become a permanent role. The Building Services Manager will be rewarded with an attractive salary.
