Elemis is an innovative leader in advanced scientific and aroma-therapeutic spa and skincare formulations. We are looking for a commercial minded, analytical and dynamic individual to be responsible for assisting in the definition and execution of our pricing strategy and for analysing sales to maximise the success and impact of our brand.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing price tactics and margin definition.
- Understand and maintain current methods of price monitoring by markets and competitors.
- Analyse current costing and recommend and implement updated pricing programmes to generate profitable revenue growth.

Complete competitor analysis of major competitors, including qualitative and quantitative information.

Implement and maintain a customer and competitor database.

Identify methods to monitor pricing by markets and competitors.

Recommend a new process for pricing.

Develop and coordinate pricing requests.

Manage execution of price increase effectiveness and measure success.

Implement strategic and tactical cost/price planning.

Providing analysis on Return on Investment.

To analyse products/promotions and their success and to be able to provide the senior management with clear analytical feedback on performance and future strategy.

To advise on and influence product launches in conjunction with promotional launches, utilising knowledge and understanding of competitors and current trends, to ensure the most profitable portfolio of products, taking into account UK and global needs and considerations.

To build brand-marketing strategy across each product and promotional area to pinpoint growth and decline to develop a short and long term strategy.

To maximize the sales success and impact of the brand as a whole.

Analyse plans, in addition to financial, competitive and research analysis.
The successful candidate must have:

Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent

Educated to degree level within the field of Finance or IT with Marketing

Proven track record within a customer insights team

Understanding of marketing disciplines
-
Understand current and emerging customer needs within the beauty industry is desirable
-
Strong analytical skills
-
Demonstrated experience in presenting complex data in an easy-to-understand format
-
Ability to communicate complex information at all levels
-
Proficiency with MS Office with advanced skills in Excel

Excellent organisational and problem solving skills

Report writing skills
-
SAS knowledge is desirable

Knowledge of Epicor desirable
