Job Description : 
PPD is a leading Global Contract Research Organisation with offices in over 30 Countries.
We are looking for a Business Development Assistant to be based in our Cambridge office to support all activities of the Business Development team.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Administrative support to the Business Development Managers within Europe Middle East and Africa. This will involve making travel arrangements, setting up conference calls, general typing, photocopying and scanning of documents.
  • Co-ordinating and maintaining both hardcopy and electronic filing processes
  • Dealing with Business Development enquiries including all marketing and advertising vendors, enquiries via website or journals, other PPD offices and other departments
  • Coordinating client meetings and internal department meetings
With proven administration or secretarial experience working within a fast moving organisation, you will have the ability and confidence to communicate effectively.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and computer skills (particularly Word and Powerpoint) are also essential.
