Senior and experienced Business Development Director needed for one of the leading Welfare to Work training providers with national and international operations. This is your chance to lead business growth across the South Yorkshire and Derbyshire areas.
Reporting to the Director for Regional Sales, you will have complete responsibility for delivering new sources of growth through strategic relationship building in the target market and delivering through an operational approach to business development.
The main duties include developing processes to achieve regional business development and partnership objectives; working with funding bodies such as the Regional Development Agencies and Local Authorities, PCTs, and public/private sector organisations; and ongoing research into new markets for national rollout with local approaches.
This positions includes line managing two further sales managers, and strong contribution to business development, tenders, and proposals within the larger business development team.
The successful candidate will have a strong business development performance background in the Welfare to Work or similar sector, with a proven track record of partnership building and developing additional funding sources. You will be driven, passionate about helping others, analytical and autonomous in your work ethic with excellent communication skills.
The salary on offer is £50k-£70k + bonus structure. You must have a car and be willing to travel.
