My client is a highly successful and dynamic IT Services and Consultancy organisation. They have a strong presence and multiple offices across the UK. This company specialises in the sale of IT Services and Infrastructure Solutions into both the Public Sector and the Commercial Sectors across the UK.
They currently have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their business in the North of England. The role will be homebased and you can be located anywhere between the borders and the North Midlands. This is an exciting time for this company which is going from strength to strength and the successful sales person will have the opportunity to sell to any customer across the North of England.
The main strategic focus will be identifying any opportunities in IT Professional Services comprising Virtualisation, Data Management, Storage and Microsoft Services and driving progress towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with Company vision and values. As well as this, you will be responsible for tender responses from partners etc
You will be experienced in establishing a plan and strategy to expand your specified customer base and maximize revenues from existing and new customers.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in IT sales in either the public or commercial sectors. You will have a good knowledge of selling managed services, professional services, and/or infrastructure solutions. Experience in selling Microsoft based solutions is necessary and knowledge of Virtualisation and Storage would be beneficial. You will have experience in tender responses.
