Our client is a leading and highly innovative technology business based in Cambridge, due to continued growth they now require an experienced sales professional to drive the UK market sales forward.
Reporting into the Sales Director, you will take responsibility for the UK market and be responsible for selling a technical service proposition into a wide variety of industries from automotive to oil and gas. You will manage the complete sales cycle from initial research and cold call through to presentations, negotiations, close and ongoing account management. Working along side engineering and technical sales staff, you will be able to quickly identify customer pain points and sell in best fit solutions from the company’s existing toolkit and processes.
It is envisaged that the role will be largely field based spending upwards of 80% of your time in the territory.
The successful candidates will have a proven and highly successful sales track record, with the experience of selling technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Experience and understanding of metal finishing and coating experience is essential as is the ability to present a value proposition rather than least cost. You will be a first class presenter with excellent communication skills and the ability to produce winning tenders and successful marketing campaigns.
