Following a shake up in their collections division, and major enhancements in their sales structure, our client is now in a position to aggressively expand with the recruitment of a number of regional business development managers across the UK

THE ROLE
The business development manager will be selling total outsourced waste management solutions, on a regional basis. The prospective client base will be predominantly SME, but you will retain the opportunity to win contracts valued up £500,000. An average contract value will be £25,000.

Leads will be generated for you through a strong telemarketing function, an internal referral system, and a lapsed client database and through your own self-generation.

Working across a wide spectrum of vertical markets, you will need to develop quality relationships at multiple level through divisions including health and safety, operations, facilities management and finance.

This consultative sales role will suit a structured individual, who is looking for an opportunity to enter a market leader, receive training from the best, and create some stable development in their career.

THE PERSON
Applicants currently working as business development managers, sales executives, account managers or in any professional sales role with a provable track record of success are invited to apply if they have -
Essential
- 2 years business to business sales experience
- Field Sales experience
- Ability to develop your own leads
- Strong relationship building skills - both internally and externally
- Driven to succeed
- Strong work ethic
- Career minded - looking to develop and get promoted

Desirable
- Any experience in the waste management industry would be beneficial but is by no means a pre-requisite
- Experience of working for a large corporate
- Territory management skills
- Excellent listening skills
