£45,000 basic plus £45,000 commission plus car allowance of £4,800

Business Development Manager (BDM) required for IT solutions business and Hosting
Our client, a leading IT solutions provider, is looking for a high calibre Business Development Manager specifically tasked with business development in the Reading and South-East area specifically to address sales of various IT solutions to UK businesses based in the area.
The Role:
To focus specifically on developing and growing new business sales. Specific experience and expertise with proven track record in successful consultative sales of the product portfolio is essential.
On a day to day basis to prospect for new business, attend client meetings, grow pipeline all with an essential outcome of exceeding individual and sales targets.
To own delivery of a sales number against set sales targets.
Your key performance indicators will include activity levels (customer meetings), pipeline growth and sales booking.
Essential Experience:
Proven personal sales track record
Educated to degree level or relevant experience
Proven track record in the field of selling Hosting, Unified Communications, Security, Voice and Networking application sales
Excellent business acumen
Good level of technical knowledge across a wide range of technologies (data and voice services, network and email security, infrastructure, business software and managed technology) combined with an ability to articulate these technologies to a non-technical audience.
Good written verbal and organisational skills
Full, clean driving license
