Your Profile
As a Business Development Manager, you will be tenacious, forward-thinking and aggressive in your new business development whilst constantly remaining consultative in your sales approach. You will be looking for a role that offers you flexibility, responsibility and autonomy. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years successful business information sales experience, with experience of developing new business and renewing business within the existing client base. This role will suit a commercially aware, professional, articulate and experienced sales person with drive and determination to succeed whilst selling on behalf of a world class information brand.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling cross platform information solutions to the existing client base and to new clients that you identify. Your annual sales targets will be around £400-500k in which you will be expected to deliver year on year growth through successful key account management and new business development. You will be selling into a defined geographical region, therefore my client are seeking an articulate strong networker that is confident when pitching to senior level decision makers and discussing sensitive business issues, pain points and requirements.
