Business Development Manager / Field Sales
Northampton - we will also consider home working for those who live further afield.
The Role:
This is a pure new business development role. You will be responsible for the full sale cycle; researching new companies and organisations to target. Cold calling, setting up your own appointments, visiting clients face to face, prospecting via networking or email / advert / marketing campaigns. You will also attend sales exhibitions to present the product to to other businesses.
You will ideally be based out of the Northampton office day to day but you will plan your week according to where your field appointments are. We will also consider somebody living further afield who can work from home.
Candidate requirements
You must come from a traditional new business development and field sales backgound. You will have the ability to open doors and present the product in meetings to clients at all levels both seniority and technically.
We are not looking for somebody with sepcific sales product knowledge in any particular area. However, a must have for this role is that you can come with your own contact list within leisure centres, libraries, museums, schools, childrens centres, surestart centres etc. If you have a good background selling into such organisations we want to hear from you. If you have not built relationships in this area please note you will net be selected for interview by this company.
