Our client is a well established organisation who sell Occupational Health Services into all Private Sector businesses and certain Public Sector companies. As a result of an internal promotion, they now have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager.
Home based anywhere in England and reporting to the Business Development Director, you will cover the UK and be tasked with generating circa £2m of revenue per annum. You will be selling a range of Occupational Health Services including Pre-placement, sickness absences, workplace assessment and health surveillance. Other duties include managing the sales process from producing tender documents through to completion of each piece of business and ensuring that the team deliver all that has been promised. You will also be responsible for decisions on pricing, negotiations and signing off tender submissions.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have sold a service, ideally occupational health based, into the Human Resources departments of your previous clients. It is envisaged that the value of these sales will be a minimum of £500k per Annam. You must be able to demonstrate a history of sales lead generation, working on and possibly leading private and public tenders and negotiating contracts.
