Our client is an extremely well respected European supply chain consultancy with offices in the UK and continental Europe. They pride themselves in delivering practical strategies supported by robust delivery and implementation. They work for a wide variety of blue chip clients who favour their expertise and attention to detail above the larger consultancies.
They are looking for an experienced business development/sales professional who can on the one hand take charge of and develop their corporate marketing and brand awareness and on the other use their contacts and sales skills to identify new opportunities for the business. You will be well connected across the retail, manufacturing and distribution sectors with the ability to engage potential clients.
Candidates will have a background in logistics and supply chain development and will ideally have a good practical understanding of transport, warehousing, automation, logistics IT and inventory management/planning. The role is based at the Head Office in Reading and occasional travel to Europe will be required.
