BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - ESSEX -

My client is a small and expanding groundworks contractor operational in the subcontracting market, working for commercial clients on specialist groundworks projects ranging from £0.5M-£3M in value.

With a client base that offers much repeat business my client is now looking for the next step ahead for the company which will bring them new business, new contacts and even more repeat business.

My client is looking for someone that understands how the groundworks sector works and who can liaise with the estimators to market the business, follow up on tenders and find out how likely they are to be successful in the middle of the process, win new business and new clients and generally offer an all round professional, corporate role for the company.

This is a new role for the business and my client is looking for someone with experience that he can rely on to make this role their own. Client entertainment and events will also be involved. The role will be driven by performance but will still offer a comfortable basic salary.
