The Opportunity
As a Business Development and Project Manager you will proactively sell audio visual and full events packages to end-user clients. You will target a wide range of organisations, selling AV and events packages to technical and non-technical clients. Typical events currently supported include Conferences & Awards Ceremonies, Press & Product Launches, Themed & Formal Events, as well as Music Festivals, Rock Concerts & Tours, Corporate and Sporting Events. This role offers a large amount of autonomy, with a large territory (primarily South East England, but with no real limits). You will be heavily involved in creating a business development plan, with input setting ambitious but achievable targets. As this organisation's success continues, there will be numerous opportunities for rapid career progression into either key account management or sales management roles.
Immediate rewards include basic salary £35k-£38k p.a.car or car allowance and high OTE £50k+)with a generous bonus structure.
Your Skills, Qualities and Achievements
The successful candidate will be naturally resourceful, have existing sales experience in Audio Visual and Events package sales. Must have client facing technical field experience in Audio Visual services to the events and entertainment industry. Must be commercially focused with strong technical knowledge of AV equipment for hire to the events market, ideally large displays, creative LED, image projection, Audio Systems (mixing consoles and speakers) and production systems, including cameras, multimedia and recording/playback. You will need to be a proactive sales person that has a proven track record of building relationships with prestigious organisations; you will have existing high level contacts in the events and entertainment sectors.
