Business Intelligence Analyst. Esporta Head Office.

Reporting to our Business Systems Manager at our Head Office in Wokingham you will provide reporting, and business intelligence solutions to all areas of the business both at club and head office level.This includes static reporting, digital dashboards and data cubes for analysis.
You will analyse, evaluate and document business requirements for new and existing processes and also provide focus to the interpretation of data and metrics across the business.
Key areas of responsibilities
- Accurately extrapolate data and create reports with commentary where appropriate
- Manipulate raw data in a number of formats in an effective and timely manner
- Ensure that all outputs / reports are accurate
- Undertake regular data cleansing
- Present findings from reports to senior management throughout the business
- Technical solution design, including database modelling, application functionality, development, system integration and usability.
- Develop corporate dashboards, data cubes and other information solutions using high end technology (e.g. OLAP, SQL Analysis Services)
- Determine structure of databases; normalise data; perform conversion of data between platforms when required.
- Web and standard application development using core Microsoft technologies including SQL Server and ASP.NET

- Analytical with an eye for detail
- Able to present and format data in clear, concise manner to end user requirements
- Creative in seeking opportunity or solutions to problems.
- Good interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to influence at all levels within the business and third parties
- Good statistical knowledge and excellent numeric ability
- SQL Server 2000/2005
- Transact SQL including stored procedures
- SQL Reporting Services and SQL Analysis Services
- Use where appropriate of Excel (advanced level) including Pivot Tables, etc
- Familiar with Microsoft Business Intelligence Concepts, data mining and date warehousing concepts and technology
- Experience of creating digital dashboard views of data
