Our east Dorset based client is looking to directly recruit a systems support analyst on a 1 year fixed term contract basis -possibility to extend.
The successful candidate will be a key member of a team responsible for the support and maintenance of the business systems and for the provision of a first-class IT service.
Working on SQL based business systems in a 2nd line Helpdesk role, you'll provide high quality support with a strong customer focus. You will also be involved with the implementation of the current IT Project programme.
You will also be working on business process analysis, workflows, system setup and configuration. You'll perform fault diagnosis, incident management; escalating to the next level when necessary.
As this is a hands on diverse role, you'll be a team player with excellent communication skills. You'll also have very good attention to detail, be used to dealing with changing priorities and coordinating many tasks at the same time.
You will have sound IT skills and have experience of providing IT support to Business Applications based on SQL Server databases. A motivated individual, you will be committed to high levels of productivity and customer focus with a desire to further your skills and knowledge.
Exposure to Citrix and associated Microsoft technologies is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
