• To assist with the coordinating of witness support for Victims of anti-social behaviour.
•
To work alongside enforcement officers to increase the number of people
willing to become witnesses in Anti-Social behaviour cases and
facilitates appropriate support.
• To work on projects relating to community outreach and engagement to inform residents about services available to them.
•
Develop and ensure good partnership processes occur between the civil
(housing, Community Safety Division), and crime agencies (Victim
Support, Police etc).
• Understanding of the issues affecting victims and witnesses of Anti-social behaviour and crime.
•
Previous supportive experience, Commitment to a flexible problem
solving approach with regards to work with victims and witnesses.
•
Experience of working with diverse communities and in a multi-agency
environment. Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of
audiences both orally and in writing.
• Self-driven and motivated with a commitment to produce high quality work.
• Experience of report writing.
• Ability to work on their own initiative.
• Available to attend monthly evening meetings.
Must have valid enhanced CRB.
