Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating fire alarm installation orders with end user clients.
The Successful Business Development Executive will prospect and generate new business sales from focused target accounts, competitor's customers and market segments to develop the customer base.
The Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Business Development - Prospecting via cold calling, telephone contact and web sites such as Glenigans. - Attend face to face meetings with customer as directed by line manager. - Identify any Regional accounts that may be potential new National Accounts - Establish and maintain an up to date contact database of all allocated accounts - Personal Activity and Development - To develop individual sales business plans for each account customer and prospect to ensure a strategic focus to maximise the potential of contract opportunities as identified by line manager. - To prepare business proposals and presentations to a standard required at board level. - To provide an accurate rolling three-month sales forecast and report on business activity
I am looking for the successful individual to have:
- Experience in all aspects of fire alarm system design. - Proven track record in delivering sales across a diverse client base - Natural gravitas to engage with and influence senior executives both internally and externally. - Demonstrable experience of working to tight and challenging deadlines - Ability to make decisions in a fast and changing environment - Authoritative in approach to problem solving - High impact approach. - Ability to develop cost efficient client solutions - Investigative nature with attention to detail.
