This Leading retailer is keen to strengthen its trading division by appointing an experienced multi site retail buyer.
You will be a strong negotiator and have previous buying experience gained for a large multiple retailer in a similar category, i.e. FMCG, Baby, Home & Leisure, Hard Goods, etc
Applicants should have the following skills and attributes:
- Highly developed negotiation skills
- Buying experience for a leading retailer
- Experience working alongside large FMCG suppliers
- Excellent supplier management skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strategic ability – responsible for setting budgets, achieving margins, category profitability etc
- Highly self-motivated individual
