C++ Software Engineer - Portsmouth, Hampshire - £30k-£40k
Leading Security Solutions Provider seeks a talented C++ Software Engineer to join their expanding development team in Portsmouth, Hampshire. You will be joining the company at exciting times as the software engineering team is looking to expand due to company success. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled development team where you will be exposed to a wide range of technology and high tech solutions. Due to the nature of this role you will be exposed to full life cycle software development and will be involved in the creation of new systems as well as software maintenance in a multidisciplinary environment.
Day to day duties will vary heavily depending what stage of the project you are at, the majority of this position will be hands on C++ Software Development.
To be considered for this position you must have:
- Strong C++ application programming skills on a Windows Platform
- Experience of Object Oriented Techniques
- STL
- Multithreading
- Strong academic background/Degree (1st or 2.1) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience with any of the following is considered a benefit:
- MFC
- Boost
- .Net
- GUI
- Hardware interfacing and Drivers
- Integrating Software Applications with Hardware
- Working with distributed PC applications
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
The role will require you to achieve Security Clearance.
