Embedded Software vacancies for wireless comms company based in the South West. Our clients seeks strong embedded engineers with proven commercial development of embedded real time software C/C++/Assembler for Layer 1 development GSM/HSxPA/ HSPA+/LTE etc, Physical Layer UE.



Embedded Software development position for our first rate client within their modem team. Engineers are required to take on responsibility for the design and implementation of physical layer embedded systems.



Ideally candidates will have good Layer 1 knowledge for relevant technology and such as 3GPP technologies (GSM/HSxPA/ HSPA+/LTE etc).



You will also have most of the following skills :

* Embedded C & Real-Time programming experience

* Experience of assembler programming.

* Several years of wireless systems development, including some in UMTS/HSDPA.

* Physical Layer 1 UE development.



Desirable skills:



* GSM systems.

* Mobile platforms.

* Python

* Digital Signal Processing.

* Knowledge of HSUPA, HSPA+ and/or LTE.
