* Excellent varied, challenging role which is focused on internal product quality and project delivery.
* Practical hands on engineer needed with excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of 3D CAD (preferably Solidworks).
* Need practical production/design experience from injection mould/pressure die cast background.
* Expanding business needs ambitious individuals with a good commercial and technical mix.
* Good understanding needed of reading engineering drawings, injection mould production methods and checking product detail.
* Also need to be dynamic to meet project deadlines.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer currently in a technical support, project, design or production role with a good understanding of injection mould or pressure die cast processes. You will be the key focal point for the company in terms of checking the engineering drawings against the spec, ensuring the correct parts go into production and are of the right quality and product test including load testing. You need a good 3D design understanding (preferably using Solidworks) to make design changes and check tolerance clashes etc. The background of injection mould or die cast is important in understanding materials selection and product quality.
This is a challenging and diverse role for an engineer with a passion for problem solving and both supplier and team liaison. You will receive extensive training and development on products and processes, enabling you to take on further responsibilities and progress your career.
