With a strong blue-chip client list and a track record of success spanning more than thirty years, Burrows 3D animation studio - Burrows ‘Nvisage’ - is currently seeking a CGI Junior Pipeline Technical Director to join their dynamic Essex-based team.
You will work with a great team and provide CGI technical support to the Nvisage CGI department whilst maintaining our production pipeline via information and first line technical support.
The successful candidate will have experience of 3D games or software and proven programming/scripting knowledge, together with core Windows 32+64 bit OS knowledge. You will be an organised individual with a minimum GCSE standard of English and Maths, and be PC literate – including internet and email.
Experience of MS Office, Mac OSX, Linux, and PC virtualisation is desirable. Render Management software understanding is also advantageous.
You will also be keen to work on technical subjects, particularly automobiles, as well as multimedia, web applications and CGI films, so any experience and engineering knowledge in this field will also be a distinct advantage.
In addition you will troubleshoot software problems in the Nvisage pipeline including in-house plug-ins, scripts, interface errors as well as other third party technologies. You will be required to install and update Nvisage pipeline software on workstations/renderfarm using in - house tools and maintain and update the department’s software repository.
This role requires overtime, sometimes at short notice, to meet deadlines.
