CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER / GENERAL MANAGER / CHARITY / PUBLIC SECTOR
LOCATION: HULL, EAST YORKSHIRE
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £33,000 - £36,000
SUMMARY: To manage, lead and develop the organisation in order to implement the strategic aims and objectives contained in the Business Plan in partnership with the Trustees.

-YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Experience of leading and developing staff and partnership/collaboration working
- Experience of managing change, resource and risk management, policy development and implementation
- Experience of performance management and operational service planning
- Experience in the development and management of social enterprise initiatives in the voluntary sector and in managing training and employment projects
- Proven ability to prepare effective funding bids
- Thorough knowledge of the issues affecting the voluntary sector and knowledge and understanding of the public sector in Yorkshire and the Humber region including the policy arena in which the voluntary sector operates
- Understanding of the principles and practice around governance, accountability and transparency and knowledge of HSE in the voluntary sector
- Knowledge of local, national and European funding issues as they affect the voluntary and community sector
