They are currently looking for a driven Cluster Manager to join the business.
Job Role - Cluster Manager:
You main objectives within this role will be to provide excellent customer service, maximise business performance and deliver excellent operating standards through effective team working. Your key responsibilities will include:
Customer Service:
- Responsible for ensuring that stores within the area create a customer service culture, always putting the customers needs first
- Lead by example, personally demonstrating excellent customer service, always proactively seeking opportunities to assist internal and external customers
- Communicate promotional offers and additional sales opportunities to the team
Business Performance:
- Achieve or exceed key performance measurements in the area
- Use a coaching style to: maximise sales opportunities through excellent product knowledge, ensure the tight control of stock, demonstrate creativity and flair on the sales floor, motivate the people in the Area into creating a sales environment
- Effective and efficient control of overheads and costs to the business in the area
- Monitor and control store budgets, including reserve stocks, labour expenditure and petty cash in the area
- Responsible for controlling manage all key loss areas, particularly shrinkage in the area
Operating Standards:
- Ensuring that best practice is used across the area to deliver excellent operating standards in store, including Merchandising, Housekeeping, Promotional Implementation and Staff Presentation
- Responsible for ensuring that the Store Managers manage the working environment to ensure that company procedures and legislative requirements are met
- Responsible for ensuring Store Mangers operate company systems and procedures within the company and legislative guidelines
- Responsible for the organisation and implementation of shop openings and closures
Team Working:
- Be an active member of the Regional Team, supporting colleagues on other areas
- Provide leadership and support to your team
- Develop an effective team, whilst encouraging ownership of shared goals and objectives
- Maintain and continue to develop the team by coaching team members to expand their range of skills through personal development
- Recruit, select, develop and retain appropriate team members
- Equip self with full knowledge of all regulations and procedures relating to employment legislation
- To be an enthusiastic / effective instigator of change
- Effective communication at all levels of the business
- Proactively manage succession planning in the area
- Manage the performance of employees in the area by the most appropriate method
Key Attributes - Cluster Manager:
It is essential that you have previous experience gained in a store management role within fashion retail - with experience of managing more than one site and have a good understanding of merchandising.
- Experience in leading and motivating staff
- Strong communication / customer service / organisational skills
- Managerial skills in retail: recruitment, performance management, health & safety, security
- Ability to deal with pressurised situations
- Working knowledge of payroll and cash handling
- Capable of delegating and leading
- Excellent track record of achievement: maximise sales and achieve/surpass targets
