Basic Pay:

£8.59 to £12.08 depending on experience

Additional Pay:

Shift bonus will be payable on all hours worked of 15% premium.

Work Pattern:

Two Weeks Days / Two weeks Nights

DAYS: 7.30am-4.00pm Mon to Fri (finish at 3.00pm on a Fri)

BACKS: 4.00pm-2.30am Mon-Thur (finish at 1.30am on Thurs)

Main duties of the Role:

• Operating, Setting & Programming CNC Turning Machines with Fanuc controls in accordance to customer specifications and company standards.

• Store & record used programs for existing and new customers in compliance to customer drawings.
• Identifying correct speed and feeds of tooling required for the process.

• Ownership for your own quality of work; measuring to ensure they met the requirement and raising any quality concerns your line manager.
• To work as a team and apply flexibility to the work approach to maximise the benefit to the company.
• Follow instructions as per company procedure, practises and policies.

·To ensure all work/tasks/procedures/documentation meet the requirements of ISO 9001

·Any other ad hoc duties as required.

Skills/Qualifications required for the Role:

• Must be experienced in operating and setting CNC Turning machines
• Ideally experienced in programming CNC Turning Machines with Fanuc controls in accordance to customer specifications and company standards, however full training will be given.

• Overhead Crane Training
• Manual Handling Training
• Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship qualification or equivalent
• Minimum of three years experience working in the same/similar environment/industry.
• Good written and verbal communication skills

·Knowledge of computer systems; an all round appreciation and understanding of basic Information Technology.

·Experienced within the metal cutting or manufacturing industry
