Our client is an international organisation, supplying its products to a range of industries across the globe. The rapid growth of the business has resulted in the creation of the exciting new role of CNC Turner. The ideal candidate will be time served and qualified as a CNC Machinist who is capable of Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Lathes using FANUC Controls.
Skills and Experience needed:
- Be time served and qualified as a CNC Turner.
- Experiencing using Turning Machines with chuck sizes over 1 meter.
- Experience within a mechanical engineering environment.
- Be experienced in the use of CNC Lathes.
- Ability to check and measure own work.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings.
- Highly motivated.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team, and make an active part in team working and achievement of objectives.
- Must be able or work accurately and efficiently.
To be a bit more specific we need people who have used machines with chuck sizes over 1meter. The bigger the better really, we are looking to target our HNK machine which has a turning capacity up to two meters.
