Concession Manager / Department Manager – Luxury Retailer
The Company:
Our client is one of the leading high street retailers within the luxury retail sector. With a large number of sites across the UK and the expansion of the business, this has created the need for an experienced Concession Manager with fashion or high street sales management experience.
Job Role - Concession Manager / Department Manager:
You will be fully responsible for the day to day operation of your Concession / Department, including presentation, staff, merchandising, stock control, security, housekeeping and Health and Safety. Your aim will be to achieve the Company objectives for sales, stock turn, shrinkage and staff cover. Your key responsibilities will include:
- To ensure that qualitative and quantitative sales targets are met
- To take full responsibility for day to day organisation of staff to ensure cover at the prescribed levels.
- Train all staff members in all aspects of sales, product knowledge, display and merchandising philosophies, customer care, and Health and Safety procedures.
- Ensure all product presentations are in line with corporate guidelines.
- Arrange housekeeping duties to ensure all areas are in pristine condition at all times.
- Ensure that all staff members are familiar with all cash handling and security procedures.
- Ensure all reporting is carried out in accordance with company guidelines.
- Co-ordinate information regarding deliveries, transfers, returns or exchanges for record keeping purposes. Produce statistical analysis as required.
- Set individual sales targets and monitor results.
- Insist on the highest levels of compliance with health and safety requirements.

- Previous experience within a similar retail environment, ideally gained within fashion, jewellery or giftware
