Job purpose

Responsible for developing and managing marketing campaigns for a range of key client accounts.

Knowledge, experience and skills required

3+ years' experience in a marketing department or agency, with good knowledge of print and production, and line management experience.

Ability to quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of Employee Equity Solutions (EES) products and services and translate understanding into copy.

Able to think strategically and direct delivery.

Work well in a multi-disciplined team.

Form close-knit relationships with internal stakeholders, outside agencies and clients.

Articulate confident communicator who can easily influence and negotiate with senior management, colleagues and clients.


Principal accountabilities

Executes the EES marketing plan, taking an active role in the acquisition of new business with Relationship Managers and the New Business Team, presenting marketing services to key corporate clients.

Works to build on the HBOS brand so EES is recognised as both a provider and an authority on Employee Share Plans.

Analyses campaign results and presents findings and recommendations to senior management.

Ensures communications match brand positioning. Acts as a 'brand manager' for clients' employee share plan brands and implements ideas to expand those brands and promote wider employee share ownership.

Plans communication strategies and liases with all members of the campaign team to ensure effective and efficient delivery within allocated budgets.

Selects and regularly reviews the panel of approved agencies and print suppliers to ensure that work is delivered cost effectively and to quality, legislative, brand & budgetary requirements.

Builds close-knit motivated teams, including cross functional/external.
